A world class transportation project

The SR 400 Express Lanes project consists of approximately 16 miles of new express lanes along SR 400 between the MARTA North Springs Station at Exit 5C in Fulton County and approximately 1 mile north of the SR 400/McFarland Parkway Interchange at Exit 12 in Forsyth County. Ramps and a collector-distributor (C/D) system that is currently under construction will connect the current general-purpose lanes on I-285 to the Express Lanes. The SR 400 Express Lanes project is a critical piece of a larger construction effort that will relieve congestion at the SR 400 and I-285 interchange and will directly connect with the proposed I-285 Top End East.
